Four people who went down into a water well died from the effects of the gas

In the Çermik district of Diyarbakır, four people lost their lives after being poisoned by gas leaking from an engine in a well they entered to clean. According to İHA (Istanbul Aviation Authority), four people in the Beybağı Küme Evleri area of ​​the Petekkaya neighborhood did not emerge from the well they entered to clean for a long time. Upon a report made to the 112 Emergency Call Center, 112 Emergency Health, AFAD (Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency), fire department, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. The teams entered the well which is approximately 1 meter wide at the mouth, 2.5 meters wide at the bottom and 15 meters deep, using a ladder and rope, and determined that four people had died. Teams are still working to recover the bodies of those believed to have been poisoned by gas leaking from the engine they used to drain the water.
