Turkey’s new drilling ship anchored off the coast of Mersin

Following the signing of the sales contract, one of the seventh-generation ultra-deepwater drilling vessels transferred to Turkish Petroleum has arrived in the Silifke district. Completed in South Korea last year, the 228-meter-long and 42-meter-wide vessel is anchored approximately one mile offshore from Taşucu Port.
